About Me

I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of the South and a Masters in Psychology from the University of West Georgia.

My career began in 2009 working in residential and outpatient treatment settings in Atlanta, specializing in addiction recovery, depression, anxiety, relationships, life transitions, and spiritual growth. My current counseling practice in Atlanta, Georgia, focuses on assisting couples and individual adults, with a focus on men’s issues.

I'm equipped with extensive training in the Internal Family Systems model, PACT modality for couple counseling, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. Moreover, my background in mindfulness practices and wellness adds depth to my approach. With my diverse expertise, I'm here to provide you with the most effective resources and support for your personal development and fulfilling relationships.

Josh Pease, LPC

I am happily married (most of the time) with two great children, and whenever time allows, we enjoy hiking and getting outdoors as much as possible. I am a lifelong learner with a penchant for having too many books and podcasts in progress simultaneously. I may also be found trying to catch up on the latest Premiere League Football highlights.

My goal is to help you achieve greater fulfillment, joy, and connection in your life and relationships. Rather than pathologizing behavior, I focus on understanding the purpose of behavior, your strengths, and your progress.

Each of us is doing our best with the tools and knowledge we possess. The counseling process acts as a catalyst, amplifying your existing resources and revealing hidden potentials you may have overlooked.
