About Me
With roots here in Atlanta and a passion for helping others, I've dedicated my career to guiding individuals and couples towards healthier, more fulfilling lives. My journey began with an undergraduate degree from the University of the South, followed by a Master's in Psychology from the University of West Georgia. Since 2009, I've been putting that knowledge to work in Atlanta's mental health community.
My practice focuses on couples and individual adults, with a special emphasis on men's issues. I'm well-versed in tackling challenges like addiction recovery, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, life transitions, and spiritual growth. My toolkit is diverse, including specialized training in Internal Family Systems, PACT couple counseling, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness and wellness practices to offer a holistic approach to mental and emotional health.
When I'm not in the office, you'll likely find me on a hiking trail with my wife and two kids, adding some native plants to the garden, or perhaps catching up on the latest Premier League highlights. I'm an avid reader and podcast enthusiast, often juggling multiple books and shows at once – a habit that keeps me learning and growing alongside my clients.
My approach to therapy is strengths-based and purpose-driven. I believe that everyone is doing their best with the resources they have, and my role is to help uncover and amplify those inner strengths. Together, we'll work towards greater joy, connection, and fulfillment in your life and relationships.
Whether you're navigating a tough transition, seeking to deepen your relationships, or simply looking for personal growth, I'm here to provide the support and tools you need. Let's embark on this journey of discovery and improvement together.
